Sands Expo & Convention Center (SECC) Internet Department offers high-speed Internet delivered to your booth over CAT-5 (copper) with RJ-45 connectors to your network card.

SECC utilizes an OC3C pipe to Sprint with the capability of bandwidth up to 45 Mbps. From our router, we provide fast Ethernet via a fully-switched 10/100/1000 Mbps network. Most often, you will realize a download speed of 1 Mbps from your connection, usually much faster!

SECC manages 40 switches located on six catwalks in our major halls, and within secured switch closets in the meeting room/ballroom areas.

For customers with heavy data traffic or for video streaming, SECC can provide a fiber optic connection that can extend to any area of our campus (even the parking lot!). To accomplish special network needs, it is possible to lease a portion of the network backbone for your own VLAN. Multiple VLANs can be created to provide fast Ethernet securely and privately.

Specially-trained technicians are on-hand during move-in and during your event to assist you in connecting to the Internet and with other network needs you may have. SECC has installed a wireless network in the halls and lobby areas which is compatible with 802.11a, b, and g.
